Hi class,

Ufficialmente oggi è stata l'ultima lezione del corso di 62 ore, ma Giga IH vi offre altre 3 lezioni extra, fino il 14 giugno incluso :)

Informazione per i genitori: nel calendario di esami che potete consultare qui Calendario esami CB, ce ne sono 2 possibile sessioni per KEY - il 22 giugno (KET for Schools) con chiusura di iscrizione 8 giugno, e il 24 giugno (KET) con chiusura di iscrizione 9 giugno. 
     Molto importante: chiedete alla reception quale sessione si aprirà - è improbabile che si apprano tutte e due.
La prossima volta faremo lo Speaking e sapremo i risultati del secondo mock decisivi per raccomandarvi o no di iscrivere i ragazzi al esame.

Now Homework time - next time we'll do the Speaking part so here are some materials you can work on to revise and practice:

• for Part 1 practice and answer these questions on your notebooks. Write full, longer sentences.

For example, a full, longer answer can be:

"What kind of books or magazines do you like reading?" -  I like reading adventure stories because they are exciting and I always want to finish them in two days!

• for Part 2 write questions and asnwer the questions using these examples:

Lesson 30° and Mock Test 2

Hi everybody,

For next time do Progress test Units 5-6 I gave you in class, from the Workbook p. 30 Writing Part 9 and please also read Chapter 3 of Alice's Adventures and do Chapter 3 exercise from the yellow pages.

Very important: revise the past simple of irregular verbs from p. 120 in your books! Watch this video and do the exercises Check your grammar at the bottom of the page.

Next time we'll do the Mock Test 2 so prepare mentally, but keep calm and carry on :D

From Alice's yellow pages do Chapter 2 exercise and choose 5 new words and make 5 sentences with them.

Do some more practice with giving directions on this webpage. Do the two "Check your understanding" activities under the video.
